This Pitts S.2A is a true Belgian classic. It started flying in Belgium during 1979 with at that time famous company Bap-Air.
It later changed owners and was painted in a flashy light blue coloursscheme.
Mid 2011 it got damaged when it was hit by a bus on the left side, damaging both wings quite badly.
The airframe was already partly recovered when we where contacted to carry out the rest of the restoration and finish this biplane back to flying condition.
We carried out some adjustments to the fuselage and recovered both wings.
After restoration the plane will emerge in a bright red coloursscheme.
Engine installed, wings mated. Ready for inspection before we begin engineruns.
Ready for test flight.
