This Piper J.3 was constructed in 1939. At that time it was sold factory-new for just 1000$!!

It had quite a long civil carreer in the USA before moving to Switzerland in 1959.

 

 

 

 


During 2010 it was acquired by RAR
and transported to Antwerp for future restoration.

When a private french owner bought the plane, the fuselage was sandblasted and powdercoated. We also manufactured the new floorpanels.
