During 1944 this J.3 was constructed and delivered to the USAAF where it served as 44-80020.
After its military carreer it was sold in Switserland where it was registered as HB-OUN.
Early 2011 it was transported to Antwerpen by RAR for future restoration.
The fuselage has been modified back to stock L4 condition.
Wings and Continental O.200 engine fitted.
Final adjustments before test-flying.
Back in its element, coming in to land during its first public outing at the Tailwheelmeet in Geraardsbergen, Belgium.
Together with HB-OGZ (also restored by us) over the Swiss countryside.
